5K Turkey Bowl Race

Thanksgiving Day – November 24, 2016

The 5K (3.1 mile) race is a cross-country type race that will take you through our beautiful camp and around our lake. It has a mixture of paved, gravel, and grassy paths. It is mostly level ground though there are a couple hills.

The 1 mile Children's Fun Run is a mile run on the main grounds of the camp. This race will be for children 12 years old and under. Mom's and Dad's are invited to run along side their child at no charge.

Costs: 5k Race is $21.00 through 11/10/2016 and $26.00 after 11/10/2016.
Fun run is $8.00 per child.

Times: The Fun Run will begin on November 24, 2016 at 9:10 a.m., the 5k race will begin at
            9:40 a.m.
            Registration and race packet pick-up will begin on 11/24/2016 at 7:45 a.m. at the camp
            and end at 9:30 a.m. Registration location is at the Dining Hall

Awards: All child participants who finish the Fun Run will receive a Finisher's Medal. First place trophies to the overall female and male runners of the 5K race and medals to the top three in each age group. We will have Chip Timing for the 5k Race

Age Groups: Both women & men 11&Under, 12-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 and up.

Course Records: The top overall times for the 2015 5k course were 17:02 by Peter Knoll (men’s) and 20:46 by Rachel Snyder (women’s).

T-shirts guaranteed to runners registering by 11/10/2016 and while they last on race day.
